What is at stake for the coming election?
This is not only an election that is the longest in Canadian history, but also an election that could make an impact on many environmental issues in Canada. The NDP, the Liberals, the Greens and the Conservatives have created platforms that target on ways to solve environmental issues, climate change, and promoting the green economy. But, these policies are just focused on the macro level, what needs to be discussed is the micro environmental issues, such as the policies on Kinder Morgan, the issue with coal ports in BC, and also how each party will promote the idea of creating an economy in BC that is less focused on fossil fuels, and more focused on sustainable and green business. This is what is at stake here. Can we trust one of these parties to fix issues that local activists fight for in BC, such as an economy that works in conjunction with the environment?

The upcoming Federal Election
The Federal election is coming up, and with so many issues at the forefront, it will be a very interesting election. Eternal will remain non-partisan throughout this election, but we recommend that when making your vote, to look at each political parties platform (including their environmental platforms as well). We may outline the environmental and green economic policies of each political leader though. This is a very important election in Canadian history, and we recommend that you do your research before making your vote!
